Total South Africa and City Parks take Kliptown children to Johannesburg Zoo

Default description.

On Friday, 20 April 2018, Total South Africa, in partnership with City Parks, hosted early childhood development (ECD) learners from Little Rose Centre (Kliptown) at the Johannesburg Zoo.

‚ÄčCourtesy of City Parks, children could visit the zoo free of charge and they were treated to a variety of activities such as playing on the jungle gym, the Animal Amazon display and a dazzling animal demonstration. Total South Africa saw to it that the learners were provided with safe transport and meals for the day.

There are 117 children between the ages of three months and six years at the Little Rose Centre. Furthermore, the Centre provides access to facilities and programmes such as a library, an ABET programme, a computer lab, and a soup kitchen that provides roughly 450 meals daily.
